Larimar & Turquoise Hand Stamped Southwest Necklace
This beautiful, bold statement piece features a vibrant ocean blue colored Larimar which sits between two Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochons. These incredible stones are embellished with a hand stamped, half mandala design. The intricate chain was also hand forged using authentic 5th generation Navajo stamps. Stamping designs have been oxidized to add contrast and depth against the sterling silver base. Truly stunning and unique, just like you. Turquoise: Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth. Turquoise is a strengthening stone, good for exhaustion, depression, or panic attacks. It enhances physical and psychic immune systems, supporting the assimilation of nutrients, alleviating pollution and viral infections. It is anti-inflammatory and detoxifying, reducing excess acidity and benefiting gout, rheumatism, and the stomach.
Larimar: Larimar is the embodiment of the tranquil Sea and Sky energies. Its soft, soothing blues and calming turquoise is streaked with white patterns that resemble sunlight dancing beneath Caribbean waters. It brings the ancient wisdom of Atlantis and the healing power of dolphins to harmonize the body and soul.Larimar is one of the cardinal Water element stones, yet is born of Fire in its volcanic origins. One of the few crystals to balance the polarities of these energies, Larimar cools tempers and calms fears, relieves stress and nurtures the physical and emotional bodies. It is powerful in meditation and in connecting to the Divine Feminine, and is particularly helpful in releasing emotional bonds, patterns or principles that no longer serve the highest good. A stone of clear communication, it provides the strength and courage needed to speak openly from the heart. [Simmons, 228-229][Ahsian, 229]
